What data we collect
- Booking data: name, email address, phone number, treatment booked and appointment time. Collected when you book an appointment.

- To send appointment reminders and respond to your enquiries (legal basis: performance of a contract)

Online bookings
Our online booking is provided by Fresha. When you book, your data is processed by Fresha under their own privacy policy, which you can read at terms.fresha.com/privacy-policy.
Cookies and consent
When you first visit this website you are shown a cookie banner. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is loaded until you make a choice. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.

We use Google Consent Mode v2: until you agree, Google services receive a signal that no cookies may be stored.
Google Maps. The map on our homepage is not loaded automatically, because Google sets cookies when it loads. You will see a placeholder with a button, and the map only loads if you choose to.
Google Fonts. Our typography is loaded from Google servers, which means your IP address is sent to Google when the page loads.

Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers needed to run our service: our booking platform (Fresha), our email provider and, where applicable, analytics and advertising providers. All of them act as processors on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Booking and client records are kept for as long as needed to provide our service and to meet legal obligations under Dutch law. Website statistics are kept in anonymised form.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or transfer your data, and object to its processing. Write to baansabaiamsterdam@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
